ANOTHER FEATURE REQUEST_HOW TO EDIT BIBLES HERE?

can this software be made into a bible projection software? So this be a big help in projecting bible verses in the LCD...

another thing, is there anyway to edit bibles used in this software?

Projection?

What exactly are you wanting with Bible projection? Could you please provide more details?

Currently there is no way to edit Bibles in BPBible.

hi there...

hello... thanks for your respond...
what I'm trying to say is that, may this "BP bible" be able to execute or project its bible verse/text on a LCD projector...that it can support dual monitor view...i guess this will be an additional so-awesome feature of this bible software...I'm thinking of that feature of bible softwares...

in the question why I'm asking if bibles here can be edited is that, i want to have our own Filipino-language version, not the "TAGALOG ANG BIBLE 1905" version that this BP bible already have, but the "MAGANDANG BALITA BIBLIA" version, (another tagalog version)..because my church needs the version "MAGANDANG BALIAT BIBLIA" it because most attendees have that version than other versions of English and Tagalog

another thing is that, other bible software's bible can be edited, because their bible text is just in ".xml" format of in ".mdb" format...

for me, it's an advantage to edit bibles here...another thing is that, like the "EASY WORSHIP" (projection software) "NIV" bible, it has some text there that are typographically wrong... so, editing a bible is an advantage to correct some errors...(this is my motivation why i like to edit "BP Bibles" bible... thanks again....

i guess you're the developer of this software, am i right???

- I'm really thankful of you guys who spend time in doing this such software...Glory be to the God alone... and thanks to the developers even to other Bible software developers... free bible softwares has been a very helpful tool in studying more deeply the Word of God, especially to those who can't afford buying in the internet...thank you so much guys... may God bless you in other way... PRAISE the LORD...!!!

Editing Bibles

If you have good reason to edit Bibles (e.g. create a new one, fix errors in existing ones, etc.) it is possible from the command line, but not from BPBible itself. Some information is given at http://www.crosswire.org/wiki/DevTools:Modules. There are tools to go from a module to its original source text, edit it, and then return it to a module. I don't know how reliably they will work. I am a BPBible developer, but I do not have anything to do with the modules production at CrossWire. If you want to report problems you find with the modules, you're probably best to have a look at http://crosswire.org/index.jsp?section=FAQ#I.27ve_found_a_bug._How_do_I_... and email to bugs@crosswire.org.

Editing Bibles

Not only is there currently no way to edit Bibles, but it is unlikely that there ever will be. The reason for this is that I don't think it makes a huge amount of sense to have a version of the text of the KJV with my changes. We want to read from the text of the KJV as it was, and be confident that we are reading the same text. Additionally, editing copyrighted Bibles is possibly something we don't even have permission to do or allow. If this is what you are wanting to do, could you please tell me why? I'd be interested to know.

On the other hand, if by that you mean making comments and notes about the Bible, that is supported to some extent. You can make comments about passages, and the functionality will probably be improved in future versions of the software. It is also possible that at some time far in the future you would be able to create new Bibles, though that is not a high priority.
